Since the holidays are coming up incredibly fast we thought to contribute to the festive season and giveaway our generous gift from the TELUS BlackBerry Storm launch party.
To make things easier for those interested in getting a BlackBerry Storm, the team at MobileSyrup has decided to give the whole kit and kaboodle away. For one lucky person who simply submits their name in the comment section below will receive the TELUS BlackBerry Storm 9530 and the swag bag with all the music, the meerkats stuffed animals, international roaming card and an Arts & Crafts sampler disc full of music. Just a little giving back this season from us to you…
Of course you know by now the limited availability of this from both Telus and Bell… a full rollout of the Storm will be in January 2009 and priced roughly around $250 on a 3-year plan (The winner will have to active and pay all the monthly fees). The device itself is worth about 600 bucks and comes with an 8GB SD card loaded with music and video from music and videos by Stars, Broken Social Scene, The Stills, Constantines, Kevin Drew, Jason Collett and Brendan Canning.
So go crazy… tell your family, friends, co-workers, enemies, Santa… whomever. Put your name in the draw! The draw will close December 18th, 2008 at 11:59pm (just enough time to ship this to you). We will do the draw and Friday, December 19th and will update this post and inform the winner via e-mail.

This is a great idea! So far I’ve felt nothing but frustration and loathing towards Telus and the Storm but your generous offer kindles hope in my heart. So I’ll strike you a deal. I have a credit for any smart phone from Telus (including the storm). If I win (fair and square of course) I will donate that credit back to Mobilesyrup.com to be used at any date by whomever you choose. Think of it as a delayed re-gift. Been a big fan of Apple, still am but, I find their iPhone to be quite a ‘pita’ from the people I have encountered with one. So far, most point to the same conclusion, great toy lousy everything else. Dropped calls and endless crashes and hangs. Should’ve called it iToy. Never really much of a fan investing in junk, so I never got on that bandwagon.
I also miss TELUS. being a former subscriber, I wish I never left them for my wife’s corporate plan. Always loved the service and the phones.
I am very impressed with the STORM and would definitely appreciate and treasure one. Taking also into consideration I will probably get a Christmas card this season… AGAIN. Like the year before. And the year before….

OMG!!! Okay I got a really bad HTC Touch Diamond. Can’t stand it. I’ve been waiting months to get rid of this stinker, wanted to make the switch to the Storm but the friggin’ thing won’t come out! Take pity on a brother in the hinterland (ie. not a major city in Canada!)!!

Hello MobileSyrup, I REALLY REALLY need a blackberry…so I thought I’d state WHY I need it so much. I’m a college student (studying business) from CARACAS, VENEZUELA and pretty much everybody over here either has a blackberry, or wants one and is about to get one. Since everyone’s got a blackberry here the bb messenger becomes VERY useful here, I’d rarely have to pay for text messages because seriously so many people have a blackberry, also I would be able to communicate with my professors so much easier (they send assignments via e-mail), and with future bosses (whom also have blackberries). PLUS you’d be taking away a nokia client
so please please please MobileSyrup pick me and I’ll find a way to repay you.
PS. If you’re concerned about shipping costs, not to worry I have family in the US, you could ship it to them and they would then give it to me
