TELUS BlackBerry Storm running OS 4.7.0.76
We checked out and confirmed that the OS will be version 4.7.0.76. Much improved from the earlier releases we’ve seen. Over the next few days we will go in depth with this device and report back our findings… everything from cutting and pasting, video, pics, e-mail, calendar, games, battery life, call reception.

First off thanks for all the great mobile reviews MobileSyrup. I tested the Storm and was really disappointed with it’s performance but I failed to check which OS version it was running. This 4.7.0.76. OS you are talking about; Is that the version which is currently on the market or is it a firmware update they are releasing at a future date? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the very informative and useful information. I have been using the Storm now for 2 weeks. I am quite satisfied. It sure beats the HTC Diamond I was using. I can’t say the Storm performs or reacts flawlessly all the time, but rather most of time. I hope Telus will launch updated OS very soon. Cheers.
