Nortel seeks bankruptcy protection advice

Just in case their restructuring plans fall through, Nortel has sought legal advice for bankruptcy protection, and has also explored possible assistance from the Canadian government, the Wall Street Journal reported. Nortel spokesperson said “Our commitment is to remain an innovation-driven organization, delivering value to our customers for the long term”.
