So, Manitoba users will be able to choose between having no data services in CDMA *OR* no data services in HSPA?

10 out of the 11 cities (population over 5000) in Manitoba have no data on TELUS, nor do smaller centers and rural areas.

Forget 4G; I'll be impressed when Telus can supply 1X.

In response to Ted Avery's question. More than likely there will be the switch to GSM from CDMA. There seems to be a current deal between Nokia / Seimens to help Bell & Telus to upgrade from the CDMA to GSM.

For further proof that CEO's in North America have no clue on how the introduction of LTE (Super 3G) will lead to 4G instead of the "4G LTE" please see the technology link from NTT DoCoMo's website below with the estimated timeframe on implementation. Further proof that we get lied to by the cellular providers. http://www.nttdocomo.com/technologies/future/supe...

Does this also mean they are changing to GSM as rumored, or will it still be CDMA?
