Poynt adds streaming movie trailers to BlackBerry Bold

Alberta-based Multiplied Media has expanded its “Poynt” software to work specifically with the BlackBerry Bold. It acts as a local search and locates by GPS and IP detection to the places you want to go. They have added new capabilities that gives BlackBerry Bold users the capability to stream movie trailers and purchase movie tickets from their phone.

John Lowe, CEO, Multiplied Media said “We don’t believe that the consumer should be tied to their desktop to quickly get the information they need to plan their shopping, dining and entertainment needs. The release of the BlackBerry Bold has allowed us to add video streaming functionality to Poynt which provides a more robust experience for the consumer, no matter where they happen to be.”
