Rogers proposed cell tower in North Bay gets no love

Rogers Wireless wants to improve the cell coverage between North Bay and Temiskaming by building a 80-metre cell phone tower. According to the North Bay Nugget (yes, real name for the paper as there’s lots of gold in the area) residents are urging council to amend its policy… “Ian Kilgour, manager of planning services, told councillors staff would soon table a recommendation to amend that policy since the city has no say in the approval of new telecommunications towers. Those decisions are up to Industry Canada”
