Found similar information for a newer model-
"With 1600mAh Lithium battery to provide typical standby time of more than 168 hours talking time of 11 hours and headset talking time of 5 hours"

so while I wait for the answers from a seller, I believe I know what will be involved with yours too. Most likely has to be soldered in place, will have a few terminals that can be soldered/attached.

In my home town we have electronics parts & supplies stores, places for hobbyists etc. I once found a pair of C-size rechargeable batteries for our Black and Decker cordless dustbuster there, just had to know how to solder new ones in place. A battery such as noted above for a bluetooth, will be quite common in a lot of other things and fo a mobile DVD player (also has car kit power supply etc.), it uses a 1000mAh battery so you probably need the higher one as will I if seller advises it is finished. You can also purchase higher capacity ones as long as the connections are the same or same dimensions too.

Have you considered just keeping it plugged in all thetime when on the move? I've seen more old school car items where users ran the small cord along top of windshield and down side, under dash and then just plugged it in when needed.

Hi there. Someone local to me has one of these units listed for sale, has had the ad going for over 2 months and wants $20 for it. I'm awaiting answers to my questions about his since it's quite cheap in price, I'm wondering if his unit's battery is shot-probably is I'd think. I was searching the web for an online manual (found one), also found a few posts about the unit too. Saw that there is a 12-volt car plug for it? I'm willing to bet the battery inside could be about 5 volts and similar to alot of other devices for cars like GPS etc. If you know what type of battery it is, please let me know because what I usually do when purchasing something used, I look up everything so if in the future I'm looking for something like you are now, I'll already know ahead of time. It's a given, always problems with things like this and who knows, maybe there are other compatible electronic devices that utilize the same battery, some are user-friendly and can actually be replaced if you have a little know how. I'll check back here every so often or update info as I find it. Going to check out eBay too since there have got to be a few for sale there right now.

This product is far from new and I doubt it was created in Montreal since it has been on sell across the Web for a while from different Chinese import sites like: http://www.turtlebt.com/s.nl/it.I/id.5/.f

Just search for HF88B wish is the model number you get when pairing the device

But other then that they work fairly well
