Round 300: Canadian Wireless Spectrum Auction reaches $4,224,966,577

Round 300: Canadian Wireless Spectrum Auction reaches $4,224,966,577 (three times as much as originally predicted). Rogers alone is close to $1b and rumours of Globalive bailing has started. In response to the rumours Globalive’s CEO Anthony Lacavera said: “We are absolutely not exiting the auction, we are fully in the auction, It’s an extremely low probability at this point that we wouldn’t have national coverage with the exception of Quebec.”
