Palm Reports Q4 and FY 2008 Results (sold a record number 968,000 smartphones)

Although Palm sold a record number 968,000 smartphones, they have reported a Q4 loss of $43.4 million (US). Palm chief executive Ed Colligan was optimistic about the future: “The Centro is a smash success. We have a competitive product pipeline and are developing a world class software platform. I expect together these efforts will develop positive results in the coming years”
