Michelle Abraham, an In-Stat analyst, estimated that 3G mobile TV services will evolve into a $5 billion market worldwide by 2012. In Canada, MobiTV is used by Bell Canada, Rogers, and Telus Mobility

  1. Just a point of clarification. MobiTV is a mobile TV aggregator and one of many. It happens that in Canada, all the operators decided to use the same (likely to prove the business case without taking too many risks). This being said, there are a lot of other 3G-centric mobile TV offerings out there. Just to make sure people do not equate mobile TV (the service) with MobiTV (the company)
