Bell to launch Samsung Ace May 12th?

We are hearing rumours that Bell Mobility is set to launch the Sasmung Ace smartphone on Monday, May 12th, 2008.

You might find some similarities to the exclusive Rogers wireless Samsung Blackjack II. The Ace comes loaded with a QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6, a 1.3 megapixel camera, EV-DO, microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth and first in Canada to that gives the ability to have global CDMA and GSM coverage.

What it does not have is HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) that allows you to have higher data transfer speeds. Also the Blackjack has a 2 megapixel camera.

The Ace will be available for $349.99 with a 3year contract of or $549.99 without a contract.
