Virgin Mobile Canada to offer subscriber plans

Virgin Mobile Canada made its mark a couple years ago targeting youth-oriented teens with a prepaid service model - well they are planning on abandoning this and moving towards a subscriber based plans next year.”Canadians on annual plans have been asking us to create an offer for them and to take the `con’ out of contracts,” Sir Richard Branson, founder and chairman of the Virgin Group, stated Monday. He also said that the 800,000 Canadians who will buy or renew contracts this holiday season from Bell, Rogers or Telus “to be careful what they sign.”
